Sita, wife of Lord Rama, is the epitome of all feminine qualities. She is an incarnation of Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu’s consort. Throughout her life, she demonstrated how a strong woman acts and she never rejected her high principles. She is remembered for her virtues and attributes.

Compassion, courage, endurance, patience, sacrifice and wisdom make her the ideal woman…the ideal daughter, wife and mother. Sita’s persistence, sense of duty and persuasive skills convinced Lord Rama to relent in letting her go into exile with Him for 14 years. Her physical beauty is enhanced by the beauty of her heart.

Even during times of intense distress, she showed immense presence of mind, warding off the torments of the demon Ravana. Sita remained honorable throughout the many tribulations of her life.
