Men’s Handloom Kullu Wool Meditation Shawl

Known to last a lifetime! Extraordinarily warm and lightweight, our pure wool, Kullu meditation shawl is crafted using culturally-preserved handloom weaving techniques, passed down through generations of artisans. The special wool has been collected directly from sheep, and sometimes yaks (as listed), beneath the majestic Himalayas, in India’s Kullu Valley for centuries.

Each Kullu wool shawl in this heritage collection features a special handloom weave, sometimes with two or more base colors, to create its subtle pattern and texture. Styles range from ‘Fine’ to the slightly more rustic-looking ‘Slub’ versions. Our Kullu wool shawl's popular, bold and distinctive ‘Kinnauri’ border design is also handwoven, adding an artistic touch. These unique patterns are inspired by engravings from the many monasteries and temples of the Kullu and Kinnaur areas of Northern India. Known for its traditional look and style, each shawl is incredibly durable, making it ideal for meditation, as a yoga blanket, or even as a classy blanket-throw.

CARE:  Dry clean for the first wash, to set the weave. After, hand wash cold, using a mild soap. Dry flat.
