Rajasthani Flower Earrings

As part of our enchanting Devi Jewelry Collection, our Rajastani Flower Earrings are designed especially for The Amma Shop and meant to be a beautiful reminder of the divine goddess (“Devi”) within us all.

These ornate, sparkling flower earrings are crafted in the villages of Rajasthan, India using an art form passed down by generations for centuries, and not found anywhere else in the world. It can take up to nine different artisans to handcraft each individual, intricately-designed earring. Several steps in the ancient, handmade process include imprinting the design onto silver foil, enameling, and filling with natural tree resin so that every earring is both strong and light as a feather. For the final touch, glittering rhinestones are attached to enhance the earrings’ dazzling, hand-painted beauty, followed by the addition of gold-plated brass hooks and loops.

Please note: Small bits of natural resin material may be seen on the earrings—a normal result of the handmade process used to secure the jewelry pins in place.
